Millat Arcade reimagines the neighbourhood commercial block as a clean, contemporary landmark. The brief called for maximum retail frontage without sacrificing the disciplined, understated character that defines the surrounding streetscape.

Our response layers a rhythmic facade of deep reveals and warm stone tones over a highly efficient plan. Ground-floor shopfronts open generously to the street, while upper levels step back to soften the massing and bring daylight deep into every unit.

Delivered end to end by Square Space — from concept design and photoreal visualization through statutory approvals and on-site project management — the arcade demonstrates how careful proportion and material restraint can lift an everyday commercial typology into something enduring.
